A beloved pet has inspired one of the most unusual luxury vehicle commissions in recent memory. Rolls-Royce recently delivered the Spectre Bailey, a one-of-a-kind electric super coupe designed entirely around a golden retriever-labrador mix.

Canine-Inspired Color Scheme
The 577-horsepower electric luxury coupe features custom paintwork that mimics the warm tones of Bailey’s fur. Rolls-Royce craftspeople developed a unique two-tone finish called “Beautiful Bailey,” a crème-brulee shade inspired by the dog’s floppy ear, paired with Crystal Fusion cream.
Even the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament received rose-gold treatment to match Bailey’s pink nose. The same metal finish appears on painted representations of the dog’s pawprint scattered throughout the vehicle.

Record-Breaking Marquetry Portrait
Inside, the Spectre Bailey showcases what may be the most detailed automotive woodwork ever attempted. A massive marquetry portrait of Bailey occupies a prominent position, created from more than 180 individual pieces of veneer across nine different wood types.
The artwork captures the retriever mid-pant with his tongue out, displaying the goofy enthusiasm typical of the breed. Additional pawprint inlays appear on the dashboard and door sill plates.

Luxury Interior Details
The cabin features Moccasin and Crème Light leather with Dark Spice and Casden Tan accents—all shades reminiscent of a freshly groomed yellow lab. While stunning, owners will need to maintain vigilance against muddy paw prints on the pale upholstery.
The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective surprised the commissioning clients with creative touches throughout the design process. “Working with the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective, we were surprised at every turn with their wonderful ideas,” the owners told company representatives.

Pricing Remains Confidential
Rolls-Royce declined to disclose the final price tag for the Spectre Bailey. The standard electric Spectre starts at $397,750, but bespoke commissions featuring custom paint, intricate marquetry, and personalized details command significant premiums.
The British luxury automaker has built its reputation on offering virtually unlimited personalization options. Previous bespoke projects have included embroidered falcons across headliners, tiger-orange exteriors, and now this golden retriever tribute.
Bailey’s opinion on his automotive namesake has not been documented.
