DMCA Policy Overview

Autvex respects intellectual property rights and expects users and contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Autvex website and reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

1. Notice of Alleged Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

To file a DMCA Notice, please provide the following information:

  • Identify copyrighted work: Provide a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identify material: Provide the exact URL and description of the material claimed to be infringing.
  • Contact information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statements: Include a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner.
  • Signature: Provide your electronic or physical signature.

3. Counter-Notice Procedures

If you believe that your content was removed even though it was not infringing, you may send a counter-notice containing your signature, identification of the removed content, a statement of good faith belief, and your contact information to the Copyright Agent.

4. Repeat Infringer & AdSense Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Autvex policy is to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed repeat infringers.

Advertising & Google AdSense Compliance: To ensure compliance with Google AdSense program policies regarding copyright-infringing material, if a valid DMCA takedown notice is received for any page, Autvex will immediately remove the infringing content. Serving third-party advertisements, including AdSense, on affected pages will also be suspended to prevent monetization of copyright-infringing material.

5. Warning Against Misrepresentations

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
