Autvex is an independent, founder-led automotive research and review website. This policy explains how Autvex researches, writes, updates, and corrects articles so readers can understand the editorial process behind the site.
Editorial Independence
Autvex does not accept payment from automakers, dealers, parts brands, or agencies in exchange for positive coverage. Advertising, affiliate relationships, or business opportunities do not control article topics, conclusions, rankings, or recommendations.
Research Method
Autvex articles are researched from primary and reputable sources, including manufacturer specifications, EPA fuel economy data, NHTSA recall and safety data, IIHS safety ratings, owner manuals, pricing information, and credible automotive publications. When an article relies on third-party reporting or owner experience, the article should make that clear through references, links, or wording in the body copy.
Autvex does not claim hands-on testing for every vehicle. If a review is based on research, specifications, safety data, market pricing, and owner feedback rather than a personal test drive, the article should not imply direct road testing.
Fact Checking
Before publication, specifications, pricing, safety claims, fuel economy figures, and technical statements are checked against the best available sources at the time of writing. Articles are reviewed again when model-year updates, pricing changes, recalls, or meaningful new information become available.
Use of Tools
Autvex may use editorial tools to organize research, improve formatting, or assist drafting. Final publishing decisions, source checks, edits, and corrections remain the responsibility of the founder editor.
Corrections
If a factual error is found, Autvex updates the article as quickly as practical. Material corrections should include a clear note explaining what changed and when. Readers can report errors through the contact page or by emailing contact@autvex.com.
